Oakland-based vocalist, composer, arranger, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader Rhonda Sauce creates original music that honors the language of jazz while expanding into soul, blues, Brazilian music, and the broader Afro-diasporic tradition. She has performed at the Fillmore Jazz Festival and headlined the Levitt VIBE Oakland Concert Series, bringing her original compositions to diverse audiences throughout the Bay Area.

A captivating live performer, Rhonda’s music has appeared at renowned venues including SFJAZZ, Yoshi’s Oakland, and Freight & Salvage, The Soundroom, and Key’s Jazz Bistro and has collaborated with artists including Lenny Williams (Tower of Power), Tammy Hall, Jeff Chambers, Sundra Manning and Kim Nalley.
